High-Wire Heartbreak by Anna Schmidt

High-Wire Heartbreak by Anna Schmidt is a fantastic novel. I need to confess I could NOT put it down. Sorry to those who I ignored so I could continue reading! I am not usually a fan of a dual timeline book but Anna nailed it in how she wrote the story!

Successful author, Chole Whitfield has arrived in Florida to work on her latest novel. However, she also has an ulterior motive of researching her grandmother's adoption and connection to the Ringling Family. Yes, that of circus life.  Travel back in time to the 1930s and you will find Lucinda, who is young and in love and a part of the circus.  Newly married, she is thrilled to finally let others know of her relationship with a social elite.  However, it's not that simple.

Again, I could not put the book down. The author weaves the story together in such a way that enthralls the reader. I was hooked. I highly recommend. I was given a free copy from the publisher for my honest review, which I was happy to do.

Bible Recap Study Guide by Tara-Leigh Cobble

The Bible Recap Study Guide by Tara-Leigh Cobble is a valuable resource to coordinate with the Bible Recap series or as a stand alone tool.  The Study Guide features a reading assignment, and questions to go along with the assignment. Questions vary from who wrote the particular book of the Bible,  to or for whom was it written, when was it written, as well as a variety of other questions.  The Bible Recap series goes has a podcast, and follows the Bible in a chronological order.

The Bible Recap Study Guide is a well developed study to the entire Bible. You do not need to start this in January, but rather users are encouraged to start with day one.  This is a great too to use with a group or alone. I was given a free copy from the publisher for my honest review, which I was happy to do for this excellent resource.

The Bible Recap Journal by Tara-Leigh Cobble

The Bible Recap Journal by Tara-Leigh Cobble is a beautiful way to enhance your journey through reading through the Bible.  Tara-Leigh offers this resource as a companion to her podcast.  Each page offers a space to write the date, a portion of scripture to read (in chronological order), things I loved/learned/noticed, questions/things I want to research, and a God Shot. The bottom of each page features either a prayer or scripture, or thought provoking insight.  There are so many resources go along with the Bible Recap series and this is a great addition.  This book could also be used alone, without any of the other resources.

I appreciate having a resource for writing down thoughts and being able to reflect back upon them.  I was given a free copy from the publisher for my honest review, which I was happy to do. I hight recommend this excellent resource.
