Back Roads to Belonging ~ Unexpected Paths to Finding Your Place and Your People

I loved Back Roads to Belonging by Kristen Strong! This is a delightful and insightful book about finding your place, especially when you feel you don't have a place! Kristen is a military wife who has had to find her place many times with various moves, BUT this is not a book for military wives. It is a book for all women.

I loved how Kirsten shared that sometimes what you think of as your place is not your place. And that's ok. It's just simply not where you belong and God has another place for you.

Kirsten shares real stories along with Biblical stories of finding your place. I truly appreciated Kristen's insight.  In fact, I know I am passing this book on to a friend as a great read and encouragment.

I would high recommend Back Roads to Belonging.  This is a great resource for any woman. I was given a free copy of Back Roads to Belonging by Kristen Strong from the publisher for my honest review, which I was more than happy to do!

Vow of Justice

I had the chance to read Vow of Justice by Lynette Eason. This was the first book I read by Lynette and I am hooked! This was definitely enthralling!

Allie is an FBI special agent on a mission. She has fallen in love with her partner and they are on the move to catch those involved in a major crime ring. However, Allie must go into hiding for protection, and pretend she's been killed. Will her partner forgive her? Will the crime ring be stopped? What's will Allie's past?

The best part of this book was the it "kept moving". You could just read on and on to find out what happens. No going back and forth from one chapter to the next. It flowed! I was on the edge of my seat trying to read it as quickly as I could! As I said, "enthralling"!

I would recommend Vow of Justice by Lynette Eason! I was given a free copy from the publisher for an honest review, which I was happy to do!

The Most Important Stories of the Bible

The Most Important Stories of the Bible offers great insight and is an excellent concise resource for a bible stories. The Most Important Stories of the Bible looks at many stories of the Bible and shares them in a brief synopsis. The stories are arranged in (mostly) chronological order.

I found the insight added to the Bible stories helpful. There are time lines with each section of the book (ie. the first one is Creation to the Tower of Babel). I appreciated the visual representation of Biblical events. This book is a handy resource for studying the Bible or a quick reference guide.
